Deposit Requirements for existing locations

Connecting at any existing location will be subject to a $15 service charge and a $5 membership fee in addition to the following deposit:

Homeowner $95
Trailer $145
Camp $145
Rental House or Apartment $145
Well, Barn, Shop or Storage Building $25
Commercial Account $200 min.

Deposit and membership requirements for a new service location are the same as listed above. The service charge for a new location is $50.

SLEMCO will accept a letter of credit from another electric company in lieu of a deposit provided the following conditions are met:
The letter of credit is for the most recent 12 months of service and reflects a perfect payment history. The letter of credit eliminates deposit fees only, not service charges or membership fees.
